This chart appeared in my in-box this morning. So pleased that people are still enjoying and voting for “Born Country” by Alabama. I’ve been a Nashville songwriter for 44 years. I co-wrote the song with John Schweers back in 1989. Alabama recorded it for their “Greatest Hits II” album in 1991. -Byron Hill, Nashville

I added “Born Country” to my chart and voting in honor of the 30th anniversary of it reaching #1. I will be adding another song of yours later this year around the 40th anniversary of George Strait going #1 with “Fool Hearted Memory”. I am truly honored that a legend like you took the time to stop by my blog!
