90s#1 = 90s #1 Tribute Series Song (added to the chart to celebrate the 30th anniversary of one of the greatest decades ever for Country Music).
AME = Americana
ART = Artist Tribute Series Song (songs added in memory of a Country Music Hall of Famer, an artist who recently passed away, or an artist who influenced my love of Country Music that has passed away)
AUS = Australia
BG = Bluegrass
CAN = Canada
IND = Indie
TEX = Texas Regional (typically from the Texas Regional Radio Report)
USA = United States of America (typically primary and secondary radio adds)
Part 2: Who Will Be #1 on the 5/5/24 Fan-Voted Chart?
The Favorite: “I Don’t Call Him Daddy” by Doug Supernaw (7,602 Points), was #1 on the 4/28/24 Chart.
My Thoughts: With Kerrigan La-Brooy choosing to pull he most recent #1 from the chart to share the #1 spot with others, we will have a new #1 this week. Doug Supernaw’s song from our 90s #1 Series has the best chance of being the new #1, but there is an outside chance that Kenny Chesney or Taydem Shoesmith could pass Doug if either has a tremendous week in the voting.
Part 3: Voting Info
The voting for the 5/5/24 Fan-Voted Chart will run from 5 am Eastern United States time on Tuesday, 4/30/24 until Thursday, 5/2/24 at 5 am (which is 7 pm Tuesday until 7 pm Thursday “Canberra Time” in Australia).
I will post the results for the voting at 6 am Eastern US time on Friday, 5/3/24 (8 pm in Canberra).
The 5/5/24 Fan-Voted Chart will be announced on Sunday, 5/5/24 at 6 am Eastern here in the US (8 pm in Canberra).
