8/18-8/24/19 Voting Open: Who Can Be #1?

NOTE: The voting link for this week is at the bottom of this post.

The Voting has opened, so who can be #1 on the 8/18-8/24/19 Chart?
For the past several weeks “God’s Country” by Blake Shelton has been chipping away at the lead that “Shallow” had at #1.  With “Shallow” now out of the voting, it will not gain any points, but instead will drop 10% of its points. No matter how the voting works out, “Shallow” will have 630 Points when the chart is sorted.  “God’s Country” is entering the voting with 628 Points and therefore just needs to gain 3 Points in order to be #1 this week. If “God’s Country” were not to get a single vote this week, it would still earn 8 Points.  With next week being a Vacation Week, it is safe for me to declare that “God’s Country” will be #1 on the 8/18-8/24/19 chart and the vacation-created 8/25-8/31/19 chart. How long “God’s Country” stays at #1 will be up to us voters as it has a sizeable lead of the next song after it; I think it’s safe to say that it will stay at #1 as long as it stays in the voting.

Voting Info:
The voting that will create the 8/18-8/24/19 edition of the Fan Voted Chart will run from the time of this post until 7pmET on Thursday, 8/15 (9am in Canberra on Friday, 8/16 for my Australian voters).  The 8/18-8/24/19 edition chart will be announced at 7pmET on Saturday, 8/17 (9am on 8/18 in Australia).

To see what I usually refer to about points, I update my Point Distribution Info page weekly prior to this post.  If interested, please check it out to see where I am getting my numbers from.
